My Journey & The 16 Season Method
Have you ever stood in front of your closet, staring at a multitude of clothing options, feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what to choose? If so, you're not alone. As a fashion enthusiast with a degree in Fashion Merchandising, I've been there. However, my journey in the world of fashion has led me to a passion for color analysis and personal styling that has transformed my approach to dressing and inspired me to turn my passion into a profession.
From Graduate to Business Owner
After graduating in 2013, armed with advanced training in color theory, I embarked on a journey to further hone my skills in personal image consulting. Fast forward to 2023, and I proudly became certified as a personal image consultant, ready to offer my expertise to those seeking guidance in the realm of style and color.
With over a decade of experience in using color and styling methods, I finally took the plunge to open my own business, focusing on providing personalized styling and color analysis services. It was a decision fueled by my unwavering passion for helping others look and feel their best through the power of color and style.
Color Analysis Methods
In the world of color analysis, there are various methods and systems, each offering its own nuanced approach to determining an individual's best colors. Some systems categorize individuals into 4 seasons, while others delve deeper into 12, 15, or even 23 palettes. After extensive research, I chose to specialize in the 4X4 system, which offers sixteen palette options.
At the heart of all color analysis methods lies the foundation of color theory, asking essential questions such as warm or cool undertones, brightness, and lightness or darkness. These questions serve as the cornerstone of my approach to color analysis, guiding me as I drape clients in different colors to determine their best season and sub-season.
The 4x4 Method of Color Analysis
What drew me to the 4X4 system was its precision and accreditation by the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI). This method really allows me to place individuals in their optimal color palette.
The 4X4 method that I specialize in is a comprehensive system that encompasses three systems in one, offering a holistic approach to color analysis. To help my clients navigate the terminology they may encounter online, I provide resources to decode the names of palettes, ensuring clarity and understanding throughout the process.
My goal as an image consultant is to empower you to embrace your best colors and unlock your full style potential. If you have any questions or would like to learn more, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm here to help you on your journey to discovering your unique style identity.
