Virtual analysis is paid in full at checkout and completed by email. Your photo guide and questionnaire follow by email after purchase. Virtual analysis does not include a live call. Want to talk it through? Add a 30-minute Zoom call for $50 after your report arrives. Need it rushed? Email thestylerystudio@gmail.com; we may be able to rush your results for a small fee.
How reliable is virtual analysis?
When photos follow our guide closely, virtual analysis uses the same professional approach as an in-person session, and photos from different settings and times in your life give a fuller picture of your coloring. Results depend on the quality and lighting of the photos you provide, and color analysis is always a professional opinion rather than a guarantee.
My skin changes with the seasons. Will that affect my results?
Your palette is based on your undertone and the natural pigments in your skin and eyes, which don't change with a tan. Your season should flatter you whether you're tan or pale.
I've dyed my hair for years. Can you still analyze me?
Yes. We look at your skin and eyes, older photos of your natural hair and your questionnaire answers, along with how your current color works with your features.
I'm going gray. Should I wait?
This is a wonderful time to know your colors. Your palette works with your transition and with your future gray, and helps you feel your best throughout.
What if I'm not great at selfies?
You don't need to be. The guide shows good photos and photos to avoid, and if yours aren't quite usable, we'll keep working together until we get it right.
Will poor lighting in older photos affect my analysis?
Not significantly. Older photos add context about how your coloring has changed. Your current photos are the ones that need natural, indirect light.
Does color analysis work for deeper skin tones?
Absolutely. Every skin tone has its own seasonal palette, and understanding your undertone helps your skin glow rather than look dull or ashy.
What if I love colors that aren't in my palette?
You can wear any color you love. Wear it away from your face, use it as an accent, or choose the version of it that lives in your palette.
Can I wear makeup or a spray tan in my photos?
Please don't. Makeup, self-tanner, spray tans and sunburn all change the natural color of your skin and can change your results. Take every photo bare-faced, at least 5 – 7 days after a spray tan and without a recent sunburn.
Can I get my results faster?
Results arrive within 10 – 12 business days of receiving your photos and answers. Need it rushed? Email thestylerystudio@gmail.com, and we may be able to rush your analysis for a small fee, depending on availability.
Is virtual analysis refundable?
Virtual color analysis is final sale. If you have any concerns about your report, please reach out and we'll find a solution together.
Is there a Zoom call?

Apps rely on algorithms that can miss nuance and context. Your virtual analysis is completed by a certified color analyst using calibrated digital drapes, your questionnaire and professional judgment.
